An aspiring composer based northwest of Boston in Burlington Massachusetts, Emmett Axelrod has a strong performance background, having started Piano lessons at the age of four. Up to now he has spent time with the Clarinet, Viola, Electric Guitar and Bass, although he excels further with Percussion instruments, such as the Marimba which he can play in a multitude of styles with up to 6 mallets.

With almost 6 years of experience, Emmett Axelrod is skilled at both the newer and older styles of classical composition, as well as popular styles of music. Film cues, video game music, training pieces for students, and exciting avant-garde pieces are all within his capabilities.

Stylistically, he is known for highly stimulating textures paired with exciting rhythms and vibrant harmonic language. His next goals are to master sound design with electronic instruments and synthesizers, and to work with literally anyone to make their project more musical.
